Usage: 0.5-1 gr. Allspice can be taken in pill form (by placing the powder in the capsule) 2-3 times a day.
Use in the kitchen: It is the main spice of the stuffed spring. It is used in all meat and olive oil stuffings. It is put in boiled vegetables (carrot, cabbage, celery) before cooking and then removed. It is added to various dishes, meatballs, sausages, various desserts, walnut baklava, and some drinks.
It is included in the spice mix called Curry. Roughly pounded, it is used to boil fish.
Cosmetics: There is no place.
Additional Information: Other name: Jamaican pepper. The tree of allspice is used to make walking sticks and umbrellas. From the 17th to the 19th centuries, allspice was used on ships to prevent the meat from going rancid on long voyages.
Allspice is harvested when green, dried in the sun, and ready to be used when it turns brown.
